REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY
- Complete the GYFC Membership Application and submit in writing a brief
presentation which would include the following:
History: first date of operation,
previous affiliations, President’s name & phone number
League Composition: number
of football players & cheerleaders, number of teams & squads
Field Name: name,
location, map, mascot name and colors – home & away
Financial Dependency: City,
County, State, League (who pays your bills)
Reason for Application: Why
do you want to join GYFC?
- All interested associations
must field the four Division I football teams and cheerleading squads.
- Select a Division I
representative, a Cheerleading representative, a Metro Division
representative; these representatives would be required to attend monthly GYFC meetings on the second Monday of each month, and to
attend special meetings when necessary.
When the representative is not available an alternate must attend.
- Meet with the GYFC panel at your field location to review your field
conditions. At this meeting GYFC officers will be available to make a formal
presentation to your board.
- Make an oral presentation to
the current league representatives at the earliest GYFC meeting and be able to field questions from the floor.
DETERMINATION
- All applications for
membership will be considered.
- The GYFC Commissioner and panel will give its recommendation to
the league representatives.
- Each league representative
will be given an opportunity to discuss the application.
- A motion, a second, and vote
will then be taken.
- All applicants will be
notified by the Commissioner or the appointee by phone the following day
of oral presentation.
FEES
Upon acceptance as a member of the GYFC your association will be required to pay the annual operational fee of
$700.00.
In

whose integrity and philosophy will promote the GYFC standards
and whose members and parents promote an instructional, yet competitive
atmosphere where all children learn the values of good character and teamwork.
